How to Increase Your Creative Thinking Walking the Labyrinth

Creative Thinking as a Process for Writers

Learn creative thinking from creativity expert Kathryn Bikle, LMFT. Discover how the ancient meditative practice of walking the labyrinth can increase your capacity for creative thinking.
This ancient practice helps creative writers receive inspiration through depth psychology. Depth Psychology is a therapy style that stems from the idea that people are more than just their bodies, thoughts and actions.

Walking the Labyrinth is an age-old meditative practice.  With this you can release ineffectual habits and attitudes.  You can be open to receive wisdom from within and open to growth.  Celebrate the power of the sun when the days are long and the nights are short.  Synchronize your energy with radiant, action oriented light.  On can connect with one’s deeper self through art, reflective conversation, yoga and the labyrinth.  This reveals how the body’s inner wisdom can lead to rich personal discovery.

Kathryn Bikle is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in Pasadena and the greater Los Angeles area. Her approach includes depth psychology techniques such as dream work, journaling, art therapy, and sand tray. Kathryn is also trained as a theater director, actor, writer, teacher, and presentation skills coach. She provides workshops, coaching and classes for adults and children. Her variety of areas include personal development, social skills, creativity, acting, and public speaking.
