James Lee on information writing

Information writing for analysis and investment

James H. Lee is Delaware’s only Futurist.  Presentations he composed graced the conference halls of attendees as well as the World Future Society.  His articles appeared in significant publication including The Wall Street Journal.  Mr. Lee runs an independent advisory firm named StratFI in Wilmington, Delaware.  There he offers a unique approach to capturing investment returns with strategic forsight while minimizing risks.  His financial newsletter reaches investors who seek his writing for guidance.

Information writing in forecasting social trends

As an author he published Resilience: The Future of Everyday Life.  In this book, he had the challenge of creating a thought-provoking work to explore the unprecedented challenges of the post-modern age.   For this, he had to draw on many of the same inner resources to plan and develop his work.  In so doing in faced many of the same challenges that confront writers of fiction, and he overcame them in much the same way.

James Lee covers many schools of thought that come in to play when writing.  These range from personal discipline and structure to Jungian dynamics in tapping creativity.  He tells also how he polled a representative sample of his targeted readers to find what they want most in from work.   Jim also shares how the writing process itself is our own parallel to the hero’s journey in drawing from within and overcoming the obstacles.  Listen in for an inside view of the creator’s touch.
